Microsoft Learn Lab Not Available – “Exercise - Extend an EDT”

Hello Team,

I am currently following the Microsoft Learn module:

“Explore extensions and the extension framework in finance and operations apps”

The exercise named:

“Exercise - Extend an EDT” has not been showing the free lab/VM environment for the last 2 days.

Because of this issue, I’m unable to perform the practical exercise and continue my learning path.

I have already:

refreshed the page
tried different browsers
checked multiple times over 2 days
signed in properly

But the lab access/launch option is still missing.

Could someone please confirm:

1.Whether the lab is temporarily unavailable?
2.If there is an alternative way to practice this exercise?
3.Whether a downloadable VM or sandbox is available?

Hi Drasti,

I don't know if there was a lab connected to this page before or not. Have you seen it previously?

Anyway, if you are affiliated with a customer or partner, there is an option to deploy a development environment or download a OneBox VM and perform the steps as per the article.

Hi Drasti,

It seems that the lab option has been removed. I checked the page as well and I don't see that option either. I have access through a partner, you could download a VM and practice locally. Or possibly deploy an UDE Dev environment but I don't think there's a trial version of that.
