Dear all,

I want to enable the database log for the fee forecast on projects (ProjForecastRevenue)

This is what I selected under Tables and fields in the wizard

My 1st question is: why can I select only Update here and not Create and delete?

My 2nd question is: why is the finish button deactivated, although I am SysAdmin?

I selected all the fields above and it was gray, then I deselected a checked box only and it was also gray.

Hi @Adis,

Question 1

I hope MS hasn't enabled the events Project forecast revenve table like other transactions tables, that's the reason you are not able to use create and delete events for those tables and it's should be availble for other transactions tables.

Question 2

Please schedule the cleanup job for the database log, Once the job has been scheduled. Finish button will be enabled for you.

Hi Adis,

Subra is correct about your second question. Database log cleanup should be enabled as batch job to be able to continue.

For the first question, you can only enable insert and delete on the table level, not on individual fields. The reply from Subra is incorrect, however, I do share his thoughts about enabling database log for this table.
I'm currently working at a client where they enabled too much and now are "stuck" with a DB log table containing 1,3 TB of data.

Thanks @Subramani and @André!

By setting up the clean up job, the finish button became available. I saw the warning, but wasnt aware its related to the button. Also the Insert and Delete are available on the whole table.
