Workflow rejection with comment mandatory

Is there any standard configuration for updating the comment mandatory in workflow.

    Hi,
     
    No, unfortunately not. And while can personalize a field to be required, the dialog will not respect it.
    This is an example of what it looks like on bank accounts.
     
     
    If you are open to customizations, then you can add the validation by making a code extension to the WorkflowWorkItemActionDialog form.
