What should be done when an Item Shipment (IS) created in A Entity and posted to transfer to HO-LOG Location ends up logging the inventory under the location code In-LOG instead of HO-LOG, causing an error when attempting to post the item as it indicates the item is already in inventory? How can we ensure the item is correctly transferred to and logged under HO-LOG?

Undo the shipment, re-post it with the correct location.

Transfer Item from A Entity to B Entity (Warehouse)

Hi,

For Transfer order there are two process Transfer Shipment and Transfer Receipt.

When you ship transfer order - Item moves from From Location to In-transit Location in Transfer order.

When you receive transfer order - Item moves from In-transit Location to From Location in Transfer order.

Hi

If you have posted a positive adjustment in a different location you can post an item reclassification for transferring between locations for the inventory

if there any spefic error message please share us more details
