    Hi,

In case you use the Inventory to fixed asset feature, the link is on the inventory transaction that got posted.

    Thanks André...!

Fixed asset and Assets have the table relation link. Like that is any relation between Inventory items and fixed assets. Inventory items are converted into fixed asset using 'Inventory to fixed asset' menu, but how these two  masters are connected.

Do you want to know the link or differences?

If you have an Asset, e.g. a Machine, it can be your property or rented/leasing. In case it is your own property, you will need to have a fixed asset to financially depreciate the investment and take costs every period during the lifecycle of the asset.

Inventory items can be used as spare parts for the asset or financially consumed on the fixed asset.
