What is that make "NotExists"-record appearing in "Join"-dialogue in an advanced query?

Can i create new ones related to customized tables?

Actually we have now found and learnt that it depend on from which end you enter.

Our tables have a relation of type "n:1".

When entering from "1"-end the NotExist-joins are shown

But when entering from the "n"-end the NotExist-joins are not present.

It behaves in same way with pure standard tables (like CustTable and CustTrans).

So we were expecting something that would not happen.

    Question is therefor resolved.

Thanks for your replies. I have moved the question to the Dynamics 365 Finance forum.

Can you tell us if you did a full model build and database sync on this environment after the table relation was added? What type of environment is it where you have this issue? Can you also share all the properties you used for the table relation in case a full model build and database sync are not solving it?

But André we DO have an AOT-relationship between 2 tables but there is not any NotExist-relation shown in advanced query editor.

    Hi,

I do assume your question is about Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. Can you confirm this?

When developing tables, you can create relationships between tables. In case there is a relationship defined, the advanced query editor will show options for 1:n, n:1, or NotExitst joins.
