how to delete duplicate customer after Merge Customers process is completed

Hi,
 
I merged duplicate customer with the real customer using Retail and Commerce\Customer Service\Merge process.
 
After the process is finished, now I am trying to delete the duplicate customer, but I am getting the below message
 

Customers cannot be deleted while dependent Customer transactions exist. Delete dependent Customer transactions and try again.
 
What is the process to delete duplicate customer after merging customers?

    Hi,
     
    You cannot delete customers customers because there are open and closed transactions tables (Like CustTransOpen, CustTransOpenLine and CustTrans) associated with Customer master. 
     
    Merging is possible through this screen Retail and commerce -> Retail and Commerce IT -> Customer -> Merged customer upload (considering that you have a Retail scenario). Transactions won't be merged completely and as Jonas mentioned you might get some warnings.
     
    You can considering using a Data Archival strategy in this case, to archive duplicate customer data and then work out which customers to merge in this case (This is to keep the customer original records intact).

    Unfortunately, you will not be able to delete the customer.
     
    The merge functionality will not move customer transactions from one customer to another; it will give warnings if users try to place orders on a merged customer.

    It is not possible or supported to move transactions between customer accounts.
