Document Type in JournalLines API

Posted on by 10
Hi, I am new to Business Central and we are trying to automate the some use cases using power automate. I am trying add journal entries from power automate using the JournalLines API, but it does not have the Document Type field. Any suggestions on how I might be able to add this to the journal entry?

    Hi,

You cannot customize the standard API as its not extensible.

you can create a new custom API for table and use it with fields that you need.

If the standard API does not have a field, a developer will have to create a custom API that includes the new field. Out of the box APIs cannot be customized.
