We have got a requirement where the beneficiary name needs to be mapped. In the bank statement lines , the beneficiary is generated under description field after certain words.

Example:

Bank statement description: /type/0000/......../Name/Nilesh Chourasia/

Journal description:Nilesh Chourasia

Related Party Name in journal line: Nilesh Chourasia

I tried to use the contains operator but that is not full filling he ask.

If anyone have faced such requirement. Please suggest.

Reconciliation matching rule

Huggins, the requirement is to match the beneficiary name in one of the matching rule.

But the beneficiary name is generated in the description field in the mt940 file.

So, I am unable to map the beneficiary name with the transactional journal.

Can you please explain clearly what the requirement is and where exactly are you failing? Do you want to map this to a customer payment journal? If so, can you not create a customer record under GAB and then pick that customer on the journal? I'm not sure if I understand your requirements.
