Project ID on projectInvoice

Hello! I am new to Dynamics365 and Power BI modeling. Im trying to build a model where every projectinvoice is connected to a projectid, but i cant figure out how its done.

I have found the invoices in found in the table "ProjInvoiceJour", but this one does not have a projid column, just contractid av proposalid. I cant figure out how to connect an Project invoice line to a given project. Does anyone have an idea?

I have tried poposalid, but this ones is linked to both project and parent project. The contractid does not work since not every project has the same project number as projectcontract id.

Hi NewBeginner,

ProjInvoiceJour does not have projId since a project invoice can have several projects involved.

Project transactions that have been invoiced (i.e. Billable) will be delegated on the following tables that you can find ProjId:

Item > ProjInvoiceItem - For Project categories with "Item" as Transaction type

Cost > ProjInvoiceCost - For Project categories with "Expense" as Transaction type

OnAccount > ProjInvoiceOnAcc - For OnAccount project invoices

Revenue > ProjInvoiceRevenue - For Project categories with "Fee" as Transaction type

Hour > ProjInvoiceEmpl - For Project categories with "Hour" as Transaction type.
