Close PO with pending qty to invoice

we are unsure how to proceed with the 2 products we have received less than the expected 240.

As the PO has been received, we are unable to reduce the quantity on the PO. We are also unable to undo the Receipt of these lines to update the quantities as the Put Away has been processed..

Any advice on how to correct this would be appreciated with respect to inventory and finance.

If you delete the posted put-away you can then undo the receipt. Alternatively, you can invoice the items at a cost of 0 and then create a credit memo.

Hi Valentin and Zhu , Thank you for your replies- The put away lines are already registered, so we can't delete that. it has happened in the production so how can we maintain everything to look fine in month end reports.

Hello - you can simply delete registered put away lines - Warehouse activity is not a ledger like other areas of the app!

With the put-away deleted - you can complete the steps suggested already!

Everything worked for one item but for the other item- while doing the undo receipt getting the following error : Remaining Quantity must be equal to '240' in Item Ledger Entry: Entry No.=792214. Current value is '0'.

the remaining qty is 240 in the item ledger entries.
