Hi there! Good morning, evening, or afternoon - depending on where you are :) Hope you are well today!

The Co-Pilot Form Fill Assistance feature is designed to improve productivity, but if it’s causing unnecessary disruptions, you can disable it to streamline your workflow. Here's how to turn it off

    • Navigate to Feature Settings:
      • Go to the Co-Pilot settings in Dynamics 365.
    • Adjust Form Fill Preferences:
      • Locate the "Form Fill Assistance" feature toggle.
      • Switch it to "Off" to disable the auto-fill functionality.
    • Save Changes:
      • Confirm and save your updates.

This should prevent the feature from interrupting your work. If the page lock-up issue persists even after disabling the feature, it might be related to a system performance issue or a browser cache problem. Clearing the browser cache and ensuring that all systems are updated to the latest version can often resolve such issues.

    Hello donaldking,

You're encountering a known issue with the CoPilot Form Fill Assistance in Dynamics 365 Sales, specifically the page locking up and the feature not being useful in your workflow.

    Understanding the Problem:
    • CoPilot Form Fill Assistance: This feature attempts to automatically fill in form fields based on context and AI-driven suggestions.
    • Page Lockups and Unwanted Suggestions: The issues you're describing (page lockups, irrelevant suggestions) indicate a potential bug or performance issue with the feature.

How to Disable CoPilot Form Fill Assistance:
Unfortunately, there is no direct, user-level setting to completely disable the CoPilot Form Fill Assistance feature within Dynamics 365 Sales at this time.

    Workarounds and Potential Solutions:
    1. Browser Refresh:
      • As a temporary workaround, you can try refreshing the browser page when the form fill assistance causes a lockup. However, this is not a permanent solution.
    2. Contact Microsoft Support:
      • The best course of action is to report the issue to Microsoft Support.
      • Provide them with detailed information about the problem, including:
        • The specific forms where the issue occurs.
        • The browser you are using.
        • Any error messages you see.
        • Steps to reproduce the issue.
      • Microsoft can investigate the issue and potentially provide a fix or workaround.
    3. Provide Feedback to Microsoft:
      • Use the in-app feedback mechanisms within Dynamics 365 Sales to let Microsoft know about your experience with the CoPilot Form Fill Assistance.
      • This feedback can help Microsoft prioritize improvements and address the issues you're encountering.
    4. Browser Compatibility:
      • Make sure your browser is up-to-date and compatible with Dynamics 365 Sales.
      • Try using a different browser to see if the issue persists.
    5. Clear Browser Cache:
      • Sometimes, clearing your browser's cache and cookies can resolve performance issues.

    Important Considerations:
    • Microsoft Updates: Microsoft is actively working to improve the CoPilot features in Dynamics 365 Sales. The issues you're experiencing might be addressed in future updates.
    • Feature Availability: The availability and behavior of CoPilot features can vary depending on your Dynamics 365 Sales version and region.

    Key Recommendation:
    • Contact Microsoft Support: Reporting the issue to Microsoft Support is the most effective way to address the problem and ensure that it's resolved.

I understand that this is a frustrating issue. I hope that Microsoft will provide a solution soon.
