Dynamics GP 2015 (Lot tracking and Work Orders)

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello Everyone,

Is it possible to perform lot tracking in the following example?:

Being in a medical device manufacturer, it is critical for us to know what the lot number of a given component that was issued to a particular work order is. ISO 13485 and FDA mandate this requirement. If a product fails, we need to be able to trace back every step how the product was built and with EXACTLY which components. The lot numbers will guide us to the revision levels of the component, ECO/ECN numbers, drawings, etc.

I am new to this forum and have read many articles by many fine individuals. I thank anyone who responds in advance!

-Robert
