Procurement Category Replacing the Product name in PO line created from Purchase Requisition

Dear Expert,

I have a weird scenario, just to confirm this is not happening for any setup.

Users are creating PR with Procurement Category example FA and giving Product name in PR lines.

Once PR is approved and converted to PO, the Product Name is replaced by Procurement Category as FA, this is really happening, I have tested the same.

I see, in my case, the Product name is not coming to Item description, I think this is the issue.

    Hi Ramit Paul

I just tested your scenario, and found that by default system take procurement category description as item description and concatenate after Product name in purchase order.

    I tested in 10.0.33.

    Purchase requisition :

    Purchase Order:

If you update the Item description in PR, it will also update details in PO.

    Thanks,

    Hi sir,

You can check the issue lists on the LCS to see if there is a record of similar problem, otherwise, it is recommended that you provide a ticket to Microsoft.

    Best Regards,
