Hello,
How can we pass list of records from plugin to custom action that triggered the plugin. Custom action has 5 output arguments but if plugin has to return say 5 records each having those 5 output parameters to custom action. how do we do this?
You could return an entity collection as that is the only argument that supports an array / collection of results but the result needs to be a set of records within already in CRM and I suspect we are still talking about your external data access.
Beyond that I would suggest actually telling us what you are aiming to do here. Is it to update a set of internal CRM records / update an external system or something else?
Hey Ben, Yes. i am still talking about updating the external system records within in dynamics. i then probably have to store the external records within CRM temporarily and delete them once the update is sent out. thanks!
