Checkboxes disappear on screens when using RDP for GP

Hello all - I know this is a pretty well documented issue but wanted to see if any new solutions have been figured out. We are using GP 18.4 with a W2019 RDP server for our end users. Users randomly experience disappearing checkboxes on many different screens and the only way to get them back it to reset their remote desktop session. End users are very frustrated with our answer of /there is no solution for this/, can't say I blame them! We've tried a few display setting changes as well as a regedit for font scaling as recommended by our partner. Nothing has fixed it though. Does anyone have any updates or solutions for this? Thank you!!

Hey Paula-

Did your partner also do the manifest file that you drop into the GP directory? I do the scaling registry edit and then the manifest file in the GP directory for any installs on newer versions of Windows and Windows Server and it has always fixed the font and display issues.

Thank you for the response Joe. We did drop the manifest file into the GP launching directory - however, we had it named differently. I don't know if that matters or not, so we've renamed it identical to the article you attached. Other then that, the file itself was identical in content to what we had. Do you think the naming could be an issue?
