Hide "Initial Public view" from schedule board

Posted on by 685

I want to hide the default system view "Initial Public view" from schedule board in v8.2.2.2060. Refer below screenshot:

I've tried to hide the same thing in Trial environment(v9.0) where I can do the same by deactivating the view.

Please provide the suggestions to achieve the above requirement.

Thanks,

Hardik Chauhan

Is there a way of instead hiding it, to disable changes on that view through security roles?

    Thanks Thomas.

    Hello Hardik,

Share type equal to "System" option is available after Field service v7.2 but it is not show in UI, this option available on UI on or after v8.7.

If your FS version is 8.2 then download Tab setting from Advance find setting and set share type value in excel sheet and again import.

    Thanks,

    Ankita

    Hi Thomas,

As you said to select share type = "System", that is not available in v8.2.2.2060. It is available in v9.0 to hide "Initial Public view".

    Please provide solution for v8.2.2.2060.

    Regards,

    Hardik Chauhan

    Hi Hardik,

If you go into Advanced Find and search for 'Schedule Board Settings'

    Choose 'Initial Public view' record

Change the field 'Share Type' value to System. This will hide the tab off the schedule board.
