May I know, based on professional experienced here, what is the common activity that can use Power Platform collaboration in D365 FO implementation ? And what is the benefit of using Power platform, if by any chance, D365 FO it self can cater the functionality ? although I want to know also what functionality that Power Platform supply that D365 FO cannot supply, which mean it is not better but more of a /should/.
Understand this Power Platform referring to several tools such as Power Apps , Power Automate, etc. So I want to know what features or Business Process for D365 FO that need to collab and which Power Platform tools that we should use.
Hope someone can advice by share their experienced.
Power Automate allows to automate processes and improve work efficiency. Power BI provides advanced data visualization and analysis capabilities, allowing deeper analysis of business data. Using Power Apps to create mobile applications provides easier access to data and processes, allowing users to quickly build custom applications without extensive coding knowledge. If you frequently browse our forum, you will find that it is recommended to use power automate to automate most repetitive and tedious processes and reduce labor costs. For some complex data display, you can also use Power BI to customize reports, otherwise, F&O Entity store enables Power BI integration. This mode provides two immediate benefits:
You can create Power BI reports over large data volumes.
Reports don't have to be updated by using Power BI. When Entity store is updated, reports reflect the latest data.
For me, not long ago I encountered a customer who has files on their Local hard drive and need to automatically read those files into FO Tables. At this time, I can use power automate to automate the process without requiring the user to upload it manually, getting rid of the trouble of manual work.
Best regards,
Kevin
