SRS reports disappeared, 401 unauthorized error

Hello GP community!

We are using Dynamics GP2018 on premise.  We just went live with one of the company databases.  All of the SRS reports have disappeared from all of the companies.  Not sure if it's tied to a SQL Server and network reboot last week.  When trying to access the Report Manager from any of the companies in GP, an error appears "The request failed with HTTP status 401:Unauthorized."  The SRS reports are accessible in the web browsers directly.  I've tried deploying and redeploying the reports, without any change or success.  They still don't appear.  I have been unable to edit a customized form also, but not sure if it has anything to do with it.  My fear is the forms and/or reports dictionary has an issue, or the issue has arisen from the reboot, or from Web Services.

If anyone has any insight to the issue would be helpful?

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Diane

Some ideas to get you started.

So in the Reporting Tools Setup (Microsoft Dynamics GP>>Tools>>Setup>>System>>Reporting Tools Setup), the fields, Report Sever URL and Report Manager URL, are these correct, check no hard to see typos. Actually paste the reporting manager url into the browser from that window field to check for hidden characters or typos, can you get into SSRS?

Is there a difference between the URL when it fails and when you go direct, paste both URLS into notepad and compare one above the other? https vs http, or subtle typo?

Are the default browsers the same launching each way, try setting IE or Edge to be default on the machine, could be your security context not passing through the browser to IIS or activation service, if another browser is launched by default to what you manually checking with.

    Tim.

Have you tried uninstalling SSRS and reinstalling paying close attention to the account you are using to run the SSRS service? For security reasons we normally create a separate account that is a local admin. After reinstalling I would redeploy the reports. This sounds like something has changed. Perhaps the password to the account running SSRS.

The web page opens in all browsers directly, whether Edge is the default browser or no, just not launching from GP.  I cleared out the cache history too, just I case that was blocking it.

    The URLs match.

I've not tried uninstalling and reinstalling.  I think it's a permissions issue.
