Man - machine job registration AX 2012

We are upgrading from AX2009 to 2012 and there are som changes in the job registration form I don't like.

In our route setup we separate machine and man time on primary ande secondary operation, since we would like to report time om machine and personell separately. Each machine has it's own "worker"-id.

In the old version, 2009, in the job registration form (Shop floor control) we started the jobs separately. First we started the machine work for the machine (with one job-id) and immediately after we started the job-id for the secondary operation with the workers id, by entering the id-number in the workers field.

In AX 2012 you have to login with the worker-id who is supposed to do the registration, which forces you to log in and out multiple times. Is there a better way to stay in the same form (without having to log in twice) to start machine and man job?

Or, is there a better way to register time on machine and man separately?

You don't have to log in as that user. Turn off the job verification in your terminal settings and you can start any job from any worker.

But do you run the machine without a person attending it? What time are you looking to capture (man and machine)? Are your workers accurate enough to register this? How big variations are you seeing?

Can you use two parallell primary operations instead of a secondary?

Yes, we have a person starting the job, about 15 minutes, then they prepare next job or perform some manual jobs on an other production order. We plan and measure on the primary operation (machine), but we calculate with labor cost as well.

Two parallell operations could be a solution, but still you have to log in twice, don't you?

But where do you enter the worker-id, if you don't log out and in again?
