Hello,
New to CRM. I amm trying to add the system defined "entityimage" (Entity Image) field to the "Case" form, but I am not finding the "Entity Image" listed in the field explorer.
I have ensured,
1. form properties is set to "Show image in the form"
2. Entity (Case) is set to have "Entity Image" as the the primary Image
3. Saved and published all customizations, and still not seeing "Entity Image" field in forms.
After reading the comments and your responses and your original post, it looks as if there is some confusion here. First, the Entity Image and the image that appears on the form/record are 2 different things.
The Entity Image (icon) is the image used to represent the entity within the Site Map and/or in the Solution navigation. The speaks to your Point #2 and screen shot provided.
If this is a custom entity, then within the solution, click on the entity name and you will notice an "Update Icons" option at the top.
For the Classic UI, you will add 2 icons (web resources) for the 2 different sizes.
For the new Unified Interface, you will need to add an .SVG image (web resource).
To speak to the Form Image, this is done in the Form Editor as others have pointed out in their comments. This is the image that appears to the left of the record name.
Hi Pavan, Thanks for your response. Do I have to create a new web page to read the entity image, and then refer to the URL over below highlighted section? Or is there a way to get a URL for the entity image and specify here directly?
Thanks for your response. I have checked this option already - as shown in my point # 1.
Hi Senthil Rajgopal,
Unfortunately you cannot add Entity Image in the form like other field however if you want the entity image to be shown in the form. Add a html webresource and set its image content from "entityimage" field in the form. It provides the base64 string which can b directly used in HTML webresource to display the entity Image.
Note: In case my answer helped you. Kindly mark it as verified.
Warm Regards,

Hi partner,
The Entity Image field cannot be added to the form as a normal field.
Its usage is that you said #1 enable "Show image in the form" to display the image to the left of the record name on the form.

If you want to insert an image or multiple images anywhere in the form, then you need to use the web resource, not the field.
Please refer to these two posts:
On Form Properties Check the Show image in the Form checkbox
