Editable Grid - Search then Sort on data

I have a couple of issues with editable grid and am trying to suss out if it is standard or known issue.

1)  When i search on a column header in editable grid which produces a list of record, i cannot sort those records by another column (say date). When i try to sort, it sorts on all the records in that view instead of the records in the column header search that i did. I hope this makes sense.

2) When i try to use the clear button on the column header search, it doesn't clear the header. You have to click away from the header for it to show all the records on that view again.

    I tried it both in UCI and classic client,  and they all worked correctly. Did you try to use another browser?

    Sort:

    I do a search on the header column here. This is where i am having issues 

    1) I apply and then double click on the created on to sort it - Issueas it applies to sorting on all the record

    2) Hitting clear does not remove the filter

    Sorry for my misunderstanding. I tired in classic client and this situation is really existed.

    But in UCI, it worked correctly.

    Microsoft now has nolonger support classic client, so it should be by design. I recommend you to use Dynamics 365 in UCI for better experience.
