When trying to add a 1:N Relationship in the Contact entity (Contact to Order) it doesn't show in the list.
Step 1: I Click on 'Add Subcomponents'.
Step 2: I select the Relationship I want.
Step 3: Click 'Finish', leave 'Yes, include required components' selected and click 'OK'.
After the screen refreshes, I see the same image from Step 1.
Other entities in my solution contain 1:N Relationships but not in Contact.
In the Order entity, the N:1 Contact to Order relationship is showing.
Can anyone advise why this is happening please?
Hello Pavan,
Thank you for responding.
I logged this issue with Microsoft as well. We tried refreshing the window, closing the solution altogether but got the same result.
The issue wasn't resolved during the call but the Microsoft support person said what I was trying to achieve was to map Contact to Order but what I didn't realise was when creating a new order, I was trying to map the child entity (Contact) to the parent entity (Order) hence why the mapping side wasn't working.
Hi ,
This is strange, okay once go to fields and add the related field and leave Yes include requireed components to yes and check.
Or close the solution window and reopen it and check.
Let me know if you need any further assistance.
Note: In case my answer helped you. Kindly mark it as verified.
