Microsoft Dynamics AX (Archived)

Change User Password Not Working

Dears,

We are facing an error while changing any user password on AX 2012 Retail.

After we change the password the system gives us message that password is changed successfully.

But when i try to login with new password it gives us the attached error message

May you please advise how can we solve this issue?

    Through LCS I have found the KB 3004006

    "A problem occurred logon on. Enter the user ID and password again" error after the cashier's password is entered

    I don't know if this one can help you

    Strange..

    However, the link is fix.lcs.dynamics.com/.../1178889;bugId=2733742&qc=03df1d4e5f25b1343dcda26be8e1ba01bb8dc37a14d6afc864f56c8cafd268ca

    This is for AX 2012 R3.

    Exist the same for R2.

    Hi Mostafa

    You must be a Partner Microsoft so have the right to access to the Microsoft Partner Source or a Customer, so access to the Microsoft Customer Source.

    Mostafa,

    Where are you going to change the password?  Are you doing this within the AX on worker page?  If so, try pushing the "Staff" job again.
