How I Can Create Invoices for Transportation Management

Any one , how i can create invoices ? i use transfer order for delivery item. This is my step to set up :

I use "Transfer order" from module Inventory for delivery ITEM.

is there a setting step of missing or incorrect?

Hi Wicco,

You have used the wrong tags on your question. The "current version" refers to AX7. Your screenshots are from AX 2012, so I assume you should have used this version. I have corrected the tags as moderator.

About your question: Do you want to invoice a customer? A transfer order is an internally process and is not supposed to generate outbound or inbound invoices. For sure you can expect an invoice if you have a transportation company handling the load, but that is not linked to the Transfer order process.

Hi Andre,

Ok, thanks for corrected my tags.

Actually we are using transfer order because it is a internal shipment but we use third party supplier as carrier. And i want to generate the account payable journal based on transportation management.

Did you associate the Shipper and other details in the Transportation Management Tab in the Header in the Transfer Order form?

Hi Ethan Ong,

I'm not associate the shipper and other details in the Transportation management tab, because when i "assign" a carrier in Rate Route Workbench that's automaticly in Transfer Order will filled the details on tab Transportation Management.

In that case, can you go back to your Transfer order form, Transportation Management Tab, is there any charges reflected?

Hi Wicco,

That related information is usually when you have actually received EDI from shipper. Or you have to perform manually on the following area.

Is only a hunch. ;)

Hi Wicco,

I am also an understudy. But thanks to previous help, I got TMS guide. You need to assigned specific charges such Weight or Mileage to the shipper (which I assume you have done).

Once completed, you need to go TMS>Inquiry>Freight Invoice Details.

Click new and select the respective shipment number, related load Id and Tax invoice (vendor account) as shown below.

Subsequently I believe you need to perform Reconciliation by matching the Freight and then Post Vendor Tax Invoice.
