How do you create a Fixed Asset Report List?

Hi,

Please can you explain how a Fixed Asset List can be created in dynamics from a report function or otherwise to be able to present to outside parties?

Hi KezS,

Can you elaborate what exact details (columns) you want to display on such a report? Do you need all assets or just a selection? Do you need multiple sets for different external parties?

Hello KezS,

D365FO ships with a fixed asset statement report that you can use for those reporting purposes.

You can find this report under

Fixed assets / inquiries and reports / transaction reports / fixed asset rollforward.

Its quite nice and based on the electronic reporting framework, which makes it flexible if needed.

Hi,

Are you looking for specific report format , can you please share the same?

if no, the there are many reports in inquiries and report section or also you can directly export data in Excel from "Acquired, closed fixed asset list page.

In Ax 2012 there was a listing report, In D365 Fin use the Fixed asset physical inventory worksheet report (AssetInventoryWorkSheet)

tt is also possible to use the fixed asset statement or use the table browser.

Fixed Asset Number/ Description /FA Posting Group / purchase amount / Accumulated depreciation/ book value.

All assets and also selection of sets if needed?

Good Morning KezS,

Have you tried the fixed asset rollforward report?

I would say that it seems to fix best to the requirements that you have.

Please see (docs.microsoft.com/.../Fixed-asset-roll-forward-report) and just give it a try by running the report in the fixed asset module.

Hello,

I have tried to use the Fixed asset roll forward report but it generates with only headings and no data. I am trying to find a FA report that our CFO can see how it ties to the Balance Sheet. I cannot find any report that can do this.

Hoping for some help. I have spent hours trying to find a report to tie to the BS.
