Remove entity from my Map

I would like to remove entities from my Map, after I already ran a merge.  Several comments and videos show that I must remove the fields from the map, then the entity.  When I attempt to uncheck the fields, they all showed greyed out.

How do I do this?5078.Capture.PNG

If you havent setup any subsequent processes (segments, measures, etc) after merge, then in Merge, you can exclude the fields for the entity to be removed from the merged field. (expand the combined field, and remove it). and then RUN MERGE ONLY.

Once Merge is completed, then you can go to Match and delete the entity you want to remove, and Run Match.

(from the Edit option to the far right on your Match screen)

    and then remove from Map

RE: Remove entity from my Map

    Hello,

To remove an entity from map, you will have to first remove it from any segments or measures, then remove it from the search & filter index, then from Merge and lastly from the Match rules. If you only have 2 entities added to the Match rules at this time, you may not be able to remove this one from Match and will have to ingest a dummy customer entity, map and match the dummy customer entity and then remove the one you're looking to remove.

To avoid having to do all this, you also have an option to reset your environment. You should still be able to keep your data sources with the reset option. - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-insights/audience-insights/manage-environments#reset-an-existing-environment

    Thank you!
