Sosial Engagement, no news from custom sources (rss)

Hi!

I added some RSS feeds in Sosial Engagement. Verification was successful but we do not get any news.
The problem is not in the query I use the popular words.
What could be the problem?

    Have you checked in your search parameters that you've actually included your custom RSS feed as a search rule? You can add and validate custom feeds that would then be accessible in your instance, but unless you add then as a rule in your search setup, they wouldn't contribute anything.

    Yes I created a rule based on custom RSS. Picked them from the list of sources (up from keywords field)

    Hi AntonK

    It might be that when you entered the RSS feed URLs, they had a space at the end of the URL. If this is the case, then the validation is actually successful, but it can happen that no posts are being pulled due to an error in the backend. Could you re-add your feeds and make sure they do not have a space at the end of the URL. We have this as a bug, and this will be fixed with the next release. Please update me if re-adding the feeds and removing any spaces has fixed the issue.

    I tried re-add sources - still nothing. In RSS links I don't see spaces

    Thank you for the update on your issue. Could you include a screenshot of the search topic you actually configured for these RSS Feeds (including the keywords, inclusions, languages, etc)? I will then investigate further and update you as soon as possible.

    The request is "USA" in Russian/Ukrainian languages

    cyrillic queries work fine for example in twitter or youtube

    Hi AntonK

    After some investigations, I wasn't able to find out more why your search does not bring up results. I tried the same setup as well and couldn't retrieve any results so far. Could you file a support request for this issue, mentioning to have it investigated? Thanks a lot, and please feel free to ask any additional questions.

    Thanks for the update. In this case I would suggest to ask back with support if they can escalate it to the product team, so we receive this as a bug, and can investigate further.
