AX 2012 Discrete Manufacturing Finished Goods Yield %

Hello,

Is there a setting in AX 2012 to set the production yield on a finished good? For example, I know that a product has a 5% defect rate, so if my demand forecast is for 100 units, AX will create planned production orders for 105 units for that period?

Thanks!

Tom

No, there is a Yield % that is available as part of the process manufacturing solution. You could probably consider investigating a customization to allow setting it for BOMs as well

Ah. That's unfortunate. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. Do you know how a solution to this problem is approached in practice?

Well, I haven't tried implementing the specific thing above.

But since you ask - I guess the first step is to get a developer to help you.
