Customer says that the "The Username and password is correct and as I had mentioned our Mails will not be accessed without the authentication of security that could be the reason for this error.
Kindly get this checked with Microsoft team and get the solution for this."
What is the solution to this. Kindly help us, multiple organizations are running in the email router still !!

Hi,
Do you mean that you have followed the Step 1 & 2, but when the Global administrator click the "Test & Enable Mailbox", it still gives error message?
Could you kindly provide the error message?
BR,
Judy
Hi,
The Email address is of the end-customer's and we have requested them to verify for the administrator should approve it as a Global Administrator, and we get a response that it is been done. So not sure if this is where the issue relays upon!!
Other mentioned solution points were been performed and we get error message while Test & Enable Mailbox.
Hi,
Do you have Office 365 Global Administrator role or Dynamics 365 System Administrator role?
Based on my research, when using Dynamics 365 (online) with Exchange Online, the email address for a mailbox record needs to be approved by an Office 365 user with the Global Administrator role.
The solution is,
1. Sign into Dynamics 365 (online) as a user with the Global Administrator role in Office 365.
2. Select the mailbox record and then click Approve Email.
3. Click Test & Enable Mailbox.
BR,
Judy
Hi,
Actually, that is one more question i need a clarification. I have created the trial org and am the user having the admin access, as per User roles. But when i log into POrtal, there is an error message and no admin related menus are being displayed.
And the mailbox test connection, throws an error "
Email won't be processed for this mailbox until the email address of the mailbox is approved by an Office 365 administrator. For more information, contact your system administrator. |
Hi Judy,
Thanks for the reference, I have performed the same actions but the mailbox is having failure in connection.
The error message says that "One or more active mailboxes associated to this email server profile are disabled for incoming or outgoing email processing. For a list of these mailboxes, see the Disabled Mailboxes view." but i had checked the mailboxes seperatley and associated with the email server profile, there seems to be no disabled ones associated with this profile.
Kindly help.
Is the user who is approving the mailbox and then running the test and Test & Enable an Office 365 admin? If not they will get a failure message when trying to enable the mailbox. This assumes that the O365 and D365 environments are in the same tenant.
Hi,
According to the error message, the possible reason could be that your configuration is not correct.
Could you kindly check whether you have connected Dynamics 365 (online) to Exchange Online following the steps described in the article below.
technet.microsoft.com/.../mt622056.aspx
Hope it helps.
BR,
Judy
