New to D365 so pardon if this is a basic question. When saving a record and D365 determines the record may have a duplicate, there is a pop up screen that shows the two records. Is there a way to add fields to that pop up screen and if so, where do I find that display at to add fields to it?
Thanks.
Hi,
Please check the default public view and add your required fields
Make.powerapps.com - Select Enviornment - Dataverse - Tables - select tables - views - modify public default view
Thank you for this response but I am slightly lost. I know where you are pointing me to but once I get to tables, what table do I look at? See my screenshot below on this. I did go to Contact -> Views and I see the view type column that says Public View and default next to them. I edited both of the ones in this screenshot just in case and when I refreshed my D365 browser instance, saved a known dupe, the pop up screen still did not show the new field I added to the view.
Check below thread

Based on the reply it says we need to modify lookup view
Try this If it still does not work then it is not customizable
Thanks. I have seen that post many times in my searching for a solution on this and I have tested this out each time to have it not do anything for me. I guess I'll chalk this up to a feature that just isn't available at this time.
