When posting a purchase order, it attempts to use the account structure from another legal entity

When trying to match status and post a PO from one legal entity (ABC), I receive an error that says the account structure for the account is invalid. However, the account that it displays is an account from another legal entity. However, we don't have intercompany set up, any legal entity overrides, or anything that we think would cause this. Is there something that is being missed? The account structure for the legal entity (ABC) allows blanks and all values.

    Hi,
    There have been similar problems raised by users on the forum before, and got solutions, you can refer to these old threads, and according to the reference advice of the consultant in the thread to troubleshoot the problem:
    Solved: Account structure is not valid for ledger (dynamics.com)
    Account structure xxx, for the combination xxx, is not valid for ledger xxx. (dynamics.com)
    AX2012 - Account Structure Configuration || The combination is not valid (dynamics.com)

    To see the account structure go to "Configure Account Structures" form (General ledger - Setup - Charts of accounts - Configure account structure) and seach for an account structure with the code.

    See what dimension values are configured there to be allowed on that ledger account, and it should tell you why the above combination is not allowed.
