How to implement store last value in on existing form (Out of box form) ?

I am following a book where it says to add additional code lines and method. How can I add additional lines of code on out of box form. Else if I write Coc for this form then extension form have its own last values (may be) ?

    You can't add code to standard form. You need to create an extension class and do it there.
     
    It won't create a new "extension form", it'll add logic to the existing form.

    Hello Community User,
     
    In Dynamics 365 FO you can add a new logic to existing standard form using COC and Event Handlers, you should create a new class (extension of your form) and add your logic. Tell me what you want to do in order to help you better. You can follow the below link to get started with the COC. Also you can follow Microsoft site to learn more about it.
