Hi,

I am new to Dynamics Nav and wants to Install Nav 2013 to my laptop which will serve as client and server at both time. But when I went to windows 8.1 store and start downloading Nav it shows me this screen.

I do not have any Partner source log in. Just want to download demo version for testing and hands on experience. Can I download without partner source or if not then what is the procedure for that.

have you installed nav server part before?

if yes, start development environment, there view database info, last line. this is the service url. try it in that text field of your blue screen welcome page. default value is like http://localhost:7046/DynamicsNAV/

if no, you can't go further, because to use a nav client (windows client rtc, web client, tablet client) you need a already installed nav service.

but you are truing to install tablet client only from windows store.

you have to download NAV DVD from Partnersource and then install windows client or webclient from the downloaded DVD
