It's not the email. It's happen because of storage excess usages for example email containing attachment will increase storage length, background process etc.

Many other details provided in below link:

    Thank You,

    Hi,
I did not mean the storage capacity of E-Mails. I actually meant the search function in the ribbon bar on the sitemap in the middle. If Usage of E-Mail in that Search will lead to poor performance. I hope this description of my question is better now for understanding.
But thank you for your response, I really apprechiate it.

Thank you for sharing the details.

If I understand it correctly than you want to show the email message in Site map area. if yes then, It will not impact the performance. Because Activities Area in site map shows same data of all activities entities we have in CRM system.
So, if you Add email message in site map then it will not impact the performance.

    Thank You,
    Pradeep Rai.

So I can add E-Mail as searchable in the Dataverse Search without any loss because searching E-Mails is like searching for other activities.  Please correct me if I got it wrong.

The exact content of the requirement is:

"Incidences should be searchable via Dataverse search. Essentially, the same fields as in the quick search of the entity should be searchable.

Additionally, it needs to be checked if adding the entity "Email" is feasible or if it slows down the system too much. In this case, only the subject would be searched, as the content is presumably too large (but should also be tested)."

    Yes. you are correct.

if subject is lengthy then might be little slow but need to test.

Performance wise you will not big issue.

    Thank You,
    Pradeep Rai.
