Problems getting the Self-service portal running with CRM 365 (update 2.1) on-premise

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

We are trying to deploy Microsoft based self-service portal on our on-premise installation of CRM 365.  With AD FS deployed we are getting authentication errors as follow: Invalid user name or password. The authentication endpoint Username was not found on the configured Secure Token Service!  We are able to sign-in to the CRM through AD FS however the portal configuration tool gets this error with the same user and password.  We spend a lot of time trying to find any help, however all of articles are related to the on-cloud version.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.
