Indian Currency Format

Hello All,

My client using still Axapta 2009 version, has now a new company at an other country, India.

Within a short time we are planning to get them live.

I have realized that the india curency format of their currency INR has different format than other currencies.

Such as we have million : 1000000,00

In india the million is: â‚¹10,00,000.00

And our client tells us that this is a compulsary setup for them. Otherwise the banks in india will not accept any transaction orders or there will be disagreements on vendor/customer reconciliation.

I tried to change the Microsoft regional settings on terminal services, but it did not help me.

After changing the Microsoft regional settings, on excel we achieve the expected result like â‚¹10,00,000.00

Please tell me if someone faces this case or have an idea.

    Hi,

After changing the regional settings on your computer, did you open and connect with AX again?

How do users usually connect to AX?

    Best regards

    Ludwig

    Hi Fatih,

If users are loggin in on a terminal server, they have to change the regional settings for themselves. An admin account will change it only for himself or probably new AD user accounts.

    Hello Andre,

Yes they will use terminal server. But I chnanged the settings with my own domain account on the terminal server. But it did not change the way of amount fields on axapta. My problem is this reginal setting does not affect amount fields on axapta.

I tried with several users, they changed the regional settings, sign out and also restart the server, but any affect I could see.

This is all about amount cur fields and amountmst fields on several tables on axapta.

    I want 10,00,000.00 instead of 1000000,00

If you care the numbers, in india the thousands goes with 2 digit comma 2 digit comma 2 digit comma then 3 digit but as you know it is normally three digit for millions, billions etc.

    Hi Fatih,

To be honest, I don't know if AX2009 supports this Indian numbering format.
