Hello, what's the easiest way to cancel backorders on a SO without voiding. I have several SO's with partial shipments and need to cancel the remaining quantities. There are a couple hundred lines on each order, so canceling line by line is not desired. Thanks

Thank you for your post.
The only means to cancel back orders tied to sales orders would be voiding as noted.
Does anyone in the community have an additional functionality they have leveraged to achieve this?

Thanks for the reply. Does voiding affect any transactions related to the sales order?
Voiding the sales order will send it to history and also adjust all the back ordered quantities for all the items on the back order. You could set up a macro to switch qty b/o to qty cancelled. I am not aware of any utility that would do this.
