Dynamics 2018 new client install error "There was a problem ascertaining product version information"

I ran GP Utilities after installing GP2018 and running the latest update of 18.5.1596

I received this error.

Here is the list of errors in the log file.

I have had no luck finding any resolution to complete the install.

    Those are before the switchover to Integrity Data. The latest DVD does not have those anymore.If you can use that version you are good. If you are going to upgrade to GP 18.5 you will need to contact integrity Data for the code.

    First thank you for you response, It did help resolve the issue with the install.

    I reinstalled the client without HR & HR + Payroll Suite, applied 3 update, ran GP utilities without error.

    What puzzles me is, I'm using this DVD MDGPFALL2020_DVD_ENUS with a file date 9/15/2021 from our original upgrade to GP2018

    So why would this DVD have the newer HR & HR + Payroll Suite products?

    FYI

    These products are currently installed and in use. Products list from the Dynamics.set file.

    These product IDs are for the HR and Payroll Suite features that Microsoft stopped supporting and it went back to Integrity Data. Are you using these features?

    There was a new DVD released and a service pack in March 2022 about these changes. It was an update to GP to version 18.4.1436.
