I have understood for some time that Forecaster user licenses are all the same. That is, licensed users can be regular or admin users and they can access Forecaster via the locally installed application (client) or via Forecaster Web Access, or both. However, more recently I've heard from a few different sources that there are two classes of Forecaster licenses (admin and non-admin), with different prices and different restrictions. For example, Admin users cost more and can utilize the locally installed version of Forecaster, On the other hand, regular users can access Forecaster only through the web.
Can someone clarify this for me and for the community as I think there are a lot of misconceptions floating around.
Thanks,
Nick
Hi Nick,
Forecaster users are named users. There is no differentiation between the licenses needed for admins or non-admins. There is also no restrictions on who can use the fat-client or web-client.
I checked the GP price list (and others should be the same) and we only see one type of Forecaster user.
Thanks
Ryan
