Can we retrieve old login password for live id??

Hi Guys,

I have created an account for Microsoft learning and certifications on my previous employer Id. Now I am unable to login/reset password and all my certification benefits are locked under that account. Kindly guide me, where i could retrieve those details. PS: I am aware of the MS ID under which i have given the exam. Please do let me know if i could reset my password using personal mail Id of mine.
