How to change dynamics CRM publisher prefix

Hi Expert,

Our company's crm system is implementing by a vendor. The vendor using their solution publisher, the prefix is let's say abc_. Our company would like to definite our publisher and prefix, let's say xyz_. For keeping consistency, when the project delivery to us finally, how to replace prefix abc_ to xyz_.

Are there any simple way to fix it? Appreciate any suggestion and solution.

    is up to the  vendor to define the prefix, if you would like to use a different prefix then ask them if they can do it.

    you can't replace the prefix after the project is delivered to you.

    Another thing: How much is important for your company to have a specific prefix? let's say your company is XYZ and you would like to have xyz_ prefix, one year later your company gets renamed to QWERTY, you expect to change the prefix to qwe_ for your existing solutions in this case?

    Thank you for response.

    The prefix of my company follow the convention.

    Imagine, after project be handed over to us, based on the exiting system, we continue to do some development or enhance customization, the new solutions using our prefix, that means in one CRM environment there are two prefixes (not count MS publisher). It is not ideal result.

    Are there any put right opportunities, e.g. from now on, the rest models (Apps) development start using our prefix? Is it a possible solution? Please give me advice. Thanks.
