Hello

How to move preview version data to GA version?

I checked the URL below, but I already have a license (GA).

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/mixed-reality/guides/public-preview-transition

The guide data for GA not displayed on my hololens.

It is only visible when you have a license for preview on my account.

Please tell me how to copy the preview version data to GA version.

Sincerely,

funa

    Hello funa3333,

It's wired as MS won't remove preview version data after transition.

I noticed 'It is only visible when you have a license for preview on my account'. Do you mean someone with preview license still could see preview Guide Data on hololens after solution update? And others without preview license could find nothing.

    Looking forward to you reply.

    Regards

    Johnny

    Hello Johnny

    Thank you for the advice.

I tried according to your instruction.

    The problem was not resolved.

When I start the guide with the Hololens,I get a message "For more information on how to get started with Guides, visit aka.ms/GetGuides."

Guides Instances are displayed when "Dynamic 365 Guides preview" checkbox is checked.

When set as shown, the guides instance are not displayed.

Maybe "guides" and "guides for faculty" may be different licenses.

Hi funa3333 - as long as you are accessing guides on the same instance, both licenses should give you access to the same guides. You dont need to migrate data.

Could you please open a support case at this link, so we can take a look at this?

    Hi Mahesh and Lingyun Gong

    geiinnha

The title issue has been resolved with the advice of the Japanese support team

The cause was my setting mistake

The license in the app column was unchecked.
