Hello all:

When activating an Item Price I get an error below in AX2012 R3

The transactions on voucher do not balance as per date. (accounting currency: -0.01 - reporting currency: 0.00).

Released Prod -- > Manage costs --> Pending tab --> Calculation

Then I try to activate the calculated Price and it errors out.

Has anyone come across this ?

There maybe rounding resulted from the onhand cost adjustment

Have you looked at the ledger parameter and check the maximum penny difference amount

You may want to change it to 0.01 or more

Yes I did change that to a higher value to no effect.

Since AX revaluates on-hand inventory and makes a correction if needed, you might need to check whether you missed to setup some posting accounts. Verify Vendor posting profile and Item groups configuration.

Is this price activation related to a standard cost item for which you setup a new cost price?

Have you checked whether a standard cost rounding account is setup?

Hello Nancy Nancy,

What is the rounding threshold that you have setup?

Do you allow 0.01 or 0.00 or other amounts to be accepted as rounding variances?

Can you please check this in your parameters?

Does it make a difference if you increase the rounding from 0.001 to e.g. 0.1?
