Hi! Good day,
I was trying to recover a deleted transfer order that was never sent but I can´t find any resources on the topic. This takes place in Finance and operations environment

I was interested in 2 scenarios, when the transfer Order is in status /Created/ and when is already in status /Received/, both times i deleted them just to test that functionality but i can't seem to find any history of which user deleted it or which place the deleted Transfer order went in case i want to recover it.

i'd appreciate your help

Thanks in advance!

Omar Z.

    Hi Omar,

Are you able to change the session language and provide a screenshot with English texts? You can read my blog about all option for changing the user language. New option to change the user default or session language - Dynamicspedia

    Hi,
    Here are some general guidelines:
    Check Recycle Bin:
Deleted records are often moved to the Recycle Bin before being permanently deleted. Look for the Transfer Order records in the Recycle Bin, and you may be able to restore them from there.
    Data Management Framework:
If your environment uses the Data Management Framework, deleted records might be stored in the audit history. Explore the audit history to find information about deleted Transfer Orders.
    Audit Trail:
F&O has an audit trail feature that can log user activities, including record deletions. Search for entries related to the deletion of Transfer Orders.
    Best regards,
    Kevin

Thanks for your Answers! I could not find the records the way Kevin indicated nor find the Recycle bin or similar.

    Hi Omar,

If you deleted a record from the transfer orders, then you would need to setup database logging to find out which users did delete the record. There is no automatic recover function. Note that the transfer orders have a header and lines. The database log is not able to link them together.

PS. The reply from Kevin can be ignored. Dynamics 365 F&O does not have a recycle bin. Audit trail is to track details about posted transactions and only if you imported the transfer orders, there might be a recent history of Data management jobs. Data management can't be used to delete records, apart from truncating the table before a new import job.
