I have 2 questions about Asset leasing that I was hoping someone could help me with:
1- I try to make an adjustment to a contract and I want to insert a change in the index rate. I tried to use Asset leasing > Periodic tasks > Index revaluation but when I filter by the contract it does not retrieve anything. Also, the system warns that I need to create a Index rate type and when doing that, we need to define an Index rate. This is also an issue because we don't know the Index rate in the beginning of the contract, we only know it in the future.
Can anyone please advise?
2 - We have another scenario where we know in advance that the IBR will change in a specific date (for example, May) but we only know the new rate later (for example in September). So, when processing September's entries, how can we catch up with the rent and liability that should have been affected between May and September? If we adjust the lease in September, it won't include the effect on the lease before that.
