Hi expert,

Im using time & material project, post cost-item on Project group = "balance'. when I Create Packing slip from item requirement, system has journal result as follow:

When I process Invoice proposal, system create journal as follow:

4885.AR.png

my question is:

1. can system create no journal during posting Packing slip from item requirement ?

so, when i posting invoice proposal, system will create journal ==> AR (dr) Sales (cr) and COGS (dr) Inventory (cr)

 for "matching concept" purpose.

2. when i set to "balance", can system create journal during posting packing slip as follow ?:

WIP (dr) inventory (cr)

and invoice proposal system create journal: AR (dr) Sales (cr) and COGS (dr) WIP (cr)

thanks before.

I have the same question (0)

Hi, take a closer look: if you set the same account Project cost = Project cost item for the respective item categories, the 2 transactions will cancel themselves out and the result will match your desired posting scheme.
