You are in the wrong warehouse

Hi, I'm using D365FO and just had setup my warehouse and app to test it. I signed in and tried to receive a purchase order. It recognizes the PO number but, when I imput the Item Number receive the following error : You are in the wrong warehouse. I only have one warehouse and it's linked to : vendor, default purchase order values at product, Purchase order header,  purchase order line and WMS Worker. If you have any suggestions on which configuration I should review, it will be very helpful.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

What is the warehouse set in Warehouse Management/Work user sessions for your user?

Can you end your session at this form, log back in and try again?

There was a bug in Ax2012 R3 CU12, this reminded me it. But it was in purchase order item receiving and exception was thrown after work was created

I'm working with D365FO Update 10. I have 2 workers associated to the same warehouse , I already tried to log in with both users and I'm stuck in the same place. I'm attaching my setup screenshots

    Hi,

It seems like a bug but, let's do some other checks, too.

Can you share a screenshot of your Work user session, too? It can be found in Warehouse Management/Work user sessions.

I see your PurchID does not include your company code.  Is it possible that you have PurchID OC-000020 in another company and you are not using Warehouse app in legal entity TIND actually?

The default company of warehouse service user, the one who runs warehouse management app service, is TIND, too right?

Both the purchase ID and the default company of warehouse service user are in the TIND company

It seems all good to me and this might be a bug I think.

I thought there should be a case opened by someone else on LCS, if that is a bug. But I couldn't find anything related to this in LCS either.

What else I can think of is: For some reason application might be pulling a license plate ID that exists in another warehouse currently and throwing this exception.

Do you have "Generate license plate" ticked in your mobile device menuitem setup? If so, what is the next number in its number sequence? It is higher than the ones in Warehouse management/Setup/warehouse setup/License plates , isn't it?

You need to debug this issue , it may be a bug

Hi and thanks a lot for the follow-up, I appreciate your dedication to my case. As I said at the beginning I only have one warehouse configured and I don't have the "Generate license plate" option enabled in the mobile device menu. Is it necessary to activate this option? and if activated it should I generate the LP before reception?

    Hi,

You have to use a licenseplate to accept items in the warehouse with mobile device. I suggest to activate this option and give it a try

In addition, it makes sense for such a case to be a bug, I agree.

Problem solved, I was reviewing the mobile device menu item and ,as you indicated , I didn't check the generate LP. What I found now is a big surprise, The App requests the PO ID and PO line number to identify the product, then you can input quantity. It doesn't seem logical to me that it works this way, I wonder how blind reception would be from the app?. In previous versions, as I understand, you must enter the purchase ID and the product ID to get the line number back.  screenshots of the reception. I am attaching the screenshots to show what I say and thank you very much for your cooperation.
