My customer uses SQL-Database with XAL Version 3.5. He now has the first client-PCs with WINDOWS 7 and receives warning message from XAL: Data could be lost because of wrong ODBC-driver-Version. His version is 6.01.7600.16385. What is to do?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello Rolf,

The ODBC driver is part of the operating system, and cannot be changed.

What kernel version are you running on?

    Hello Kurt,

I have just tested XAL 3.5 SP5 with 3.55.1 kernel on my Windows 7 64-bit and I don't get the warning about wrong ODBC driver.

However I would recommend running  with XAL 3.8.1.351, which was the last kernel released for XAL.

The kernel can be downloaded from PartnerSource.

    Best Regards

    Hello Rolf,

As mentioned below - running on XAL 3.8.1.351 should solve your problem.
