I've tried to find this information previously, but I'm not sure if the same ranges apply for needing access to Dynamics 365 vs. where the emails come from.
Our smarthost is blocking emails from Dynamics 365 due to anti-spoofing rules. Normally we can whitelist IP ranges or hostnames, but I'm having troubles tracking down what those ranges or names are for this product. I've found several articles pointing to IP lists, but those seem to be tied to accessing the Dynamics 365 environment, not specifically where emails sent from Dynamics will be coming from.
Does anyone know if these lists are separate or the same? If they are the same, that'll be problematic as it looks like IP's are added continuously...if that is the case, how are others handling anti-spoofing rules?
Thanks for your help!
Steven
We are also trying to get shared IPs range for email delivery from Marketing App!
It would be nice to have it in this MS page: Dedicated vs shared IPs for email delivery (Dynamics 365 Marketing) | Microsoft Learn
Our mail firewall needs to whitelist D365 Marketing emails by IP range but we can't find where this range is. Please let us know
EDIT: I think we found the IP range in this link: Download Azure IP Ranges and Service Tags – Public Cloud from Official Microsoft Download Center
You may need to download and search the JSON file for your region IP range.
Is there an updated location to find the list of these IP addresses? The previous page seems to have been archived.
Hello Steven,
At the moment we only have available the IPs that I shared.
Regards,
Thanks again, Johao. I'll test with these settings and will update this thread.
Also do you know by chance if there is a hostname that could be used, instead of trying to keep up with adding IP's, knowing that IP's are continuously added to these lists?
Yes,
all these IPs should work for you. Thanks!
If this fixes your issue please mark this thread as answered.
Thanks, Johao. I've stumbled across this article previously, but didn't know if it would apply to our specific issue based on our request being focused on IP addresses that emails will come from (to us), instead of IP addresses we need to whitelist on the firewall to make sure our users can access the Dynamics infrastructure. Could you please confirm that emails from Dynamics marketing will come from the IP's listed in the article you posted? I need to build a rule for some email filters and adding this large range of IP's to that rule seems a bit dangerous.
Thanks!
Steven
